Editorial boundaries

• No product is described in terms other than what its own listing states. A commission cannot add a characteristic that a listing does not contain.
• Nothing is ranked, scored, or recommended over anything else. Where products are compared, the comparison is one published figure and it is named on the page.
• Every product group carries a Skip these section, and every measurement page carries a list of changes that cost nothing. Those sections exist because the honest answer is often that no purchase is needed.
• Products stay off a comparison line when their listing does not publish the figure, even where that makes the group look thinner.
